Ben Adam's thoughts

Part 9

I am very busy!

The crux of my daily issues is my look and my speak; everything else is just a stamp collecting. Waking up in the morning is taken for granted. Quickly, I make plans, the lucrative ones for the day. I forget to take into account the unpredictable circumstances as well as the providence. I do not make the conjunctions whether and if in my plans. I am a winner.

In the mornings, I am hungry and get to eat a lot. Above all I am going to work. I ought to be in a very good shape. The afternoons, I go home to eat and to sleep in order to be ready for tomorrow. Money it's what I am for.

I do not read. Reading is just academic. It is disgusting and wearying and not profitable at all. The rate per hour of my wage is 19.95 dollars which I couldn't have earned with my M.S. degree in Politics. I am just selling peanuts in the Odds&Ends factory.

I do not lag behind. Once in my office, I try as much as I can to stretch time. I take a coffee, I gossip with the colleagues, I check my email, I surf the Internet, I quickly glance at the classified advertisements in newspapers and answer some calls. This is the bulk of the work.
As I know that the impression is the main thing to beware; in halls, I stride, show up I am very busy, I have a challenging job, even I am just in charge to do what I have been doing since a long time.

Today, I gotta do a seminar. No Beard and no casual clothes please! I wannabe positively distinguishable . I hafta be brilliant; you know, wearing a suit, a tie with a big knot and well polished shoes. I gonna talk about what I already talked about; that is how to crack, hull and eat peanuts. Difficult subject ? no ! Anyway, no matter how interesting is. I sure know that I will get hands clapped.
The purpose here is to show up, to stand out from the crowd, to fight by any means to shine around; that's my raison d'être.

I have no weaknesses. I have nothing but my strengths. This is the card to play. One knows that credentials, proficiencies, and the like, in spite of they are in demand, are just buzz words. The word of mouth is the fact. Without the intervention of my good and respectable neighborhood, I wouldn't have given this steady job and a hefty salary. So what!, It's legal and permitted.

The worse thing to bring about is competing and dealing with discrepancies. The key of success is to be tractable and docile. Aftermath, things will be all right. Even null, but sly, I am convinced that, by this art of behavior, I will land a very high power I have ever dreamed. Do not tell a friend about it ! and do not make my success yours!

I have my hands full. I am active, interesting, amazing and diplomatic. Frankly, I really deserve being given full considerations.
